Our mouse trap race
Hello guys/readers,
Today we will tell you about our mouse trap race. It took place at our school on Tuesday, 16th July. There were 13 teams of 5th and 6th graders. At home we had to build small cars with mouse traps as engines. We brought the cars to school on the day of the big event. Before the competition started we were allowed to practice again. Then the race began: Two teams played against each other. The team whose car drove further won the round. In the final round it was Moritz, Aaron and Noah (6b) against Tom (5b). Tom nearly hit 6b’s team, but in the end he won. There was also a price for the most creative car. Pia (6b), Selina (6a) and Lina (6a) won that prize. The race will be open for 7th graders next year, too.
So we are all looking forward to it 🙂
